Basic information and history
An absolute luxury wagon from Mercedes-Benz. 1972 300 SEL 3.5 sold new in Sweden to the Land Registry and has been driven mostly in the Umeå area. Today, the car has only had three users throughout all the years. Well-documented car in a very nice and renovated condition.

Equipped with 3.5-liter V8 of approx. 200hp connected to a 4-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
Condition
The car comes in a very nice restored condition. In terms of bodywork, the car has been rust-treated and received four layers of new paint. The car has of course been rust-protected to keep it looking this good. The body has received new rubber strips, doors, sunroof and tailgate. New windscreen and rubber strip is also installed. The mechanics of the sunroof have been renovated. In terms of headlights, the car has received new front light inserts, rear lights, and chrome strips all around.
The interior is in as good condition as the rest of the car. New leather interior has been installed together with Wilton carpeting and ceiling. The instrument panel and door sides are newly renovated. New retro-look stereo is also installed. In connection with the renovation, a 12-volt USB socket was also installed.
Engine is described by the current owner as being in very good condition. Mechanically, the car has been overhauled and received, among other things, a new exhaust system, bellows for the air suspension, brakes, ignition cables and coil, refurbished starter motor, filter and more.
Service history
Engine and gearbox are newly serviced. There is a lot of previous service documentation and other things to take a look at. There are approx. 6 inspection reports from 1981 to 2020. During this time, according to these papers, the car has driven approx. 25,000 km.
