Basic information and History
The Mercedes-Benz 200 D (W110) was produced from 1965 to 1968. The model became known as the "Heckflosse" due to its distinctive tail fin design.

The car is powered by a diesel engine, which was a common choice for Mercedes cars during this era. The engine is a 2.0-liter straight 4.a that produced about 55 horsepower. This engine was known for its durability and fuel efficiency.

In terms of design, the W110 200 D had a classic and elegant look that reflects the styling trends of the 60s.

This Swedish-sold example was put into service on 28-02-1966 and has only had 9 registered owners since it was new. The previous owner had the car renovated in 2015 to 2016, which is digitally documented by the seller. The car has been inherited after the previous owner's death.

Condition
The car gives a very good impression after the car underwent an extensive renovation where many parts were replaced. Most of it is documented with pictures or via receipts.

The exterior of the car was professionally repainted in 2016, new front and rear bumpers have been fitted. The windshield was replaced with a new one and the rubber strips have been replaced.
The seller has noted that on some moldings there are defects such as marks and scratches. There are spots on the chrome near the taillights.
The seller has noted that there is rust on the lower edge of the driver's door and a bubble in the paint. The seller refers to the image material.
All glass parts are in good condition.

Interior, the meter houses have been renovated, new ceiling, all rubber strips and fabric strips are new. New fabric in the back of the rear seat. New carpets. Seats and chairs have wear where there is a mark in the padding and a minor discoloration on a front seat (Vinyl).
The steering wheel and controls have age-related wear such as on the signal ring and cracks on the steering wheel.
Dashboard and panel are described as having a stain that has been improved and is documented in the image material.
The steps have less wear.

Mechanically, new shock absorbers are fitted, the tires were also replaced with new ones and new glow plugs in the machine. The seller describes that the engine and gearbox work well and that the brakes works fine.

Mechanically and electrically, the car works as it should.

Renovated in 2015-2016, pictures are on usb which can be emailed over during the auction. As well as receipts for very new parts. "

A fine and lavish classic " Heckflosse Mercedes", perfect for outings and vintage vehicle gatherings. Allot of new parts for which there is a receipt, the car has not been driven many km since the renovation.
