Basic information and History

There are many icons in the automotive world, but few as recognized and popular as the classic VW Beetle. That it was produced in over 23 million copies is a proof in itself, and most adults today have some personal memory with one of these fantastic cars! This fantastically nice and renovated object is sold in Sweden, where all owners have taken very good care of the car, which was also the reason why the seller bought it in the first place. The car has undergone a complete restoration and is still in a fantastically fine condition with few remarks.


Condition

Exterior: The seller says that the car is in very good condition on the outside apart from a couple of minor stone chips in the front and a small mark on the driver's door which is documented in the album. The car was repainted during the renovation and is perceived as a professional work and is still in very good condition. Of note is the chrome on the bumpers, which has very little patina and the glass parts are in very good condition. The car has the original wheels in the same fine condition and the tires have about 7mm of tread left. The cabriolet roof was changed about 3 years ago and is unremarkable. Interior: The original interior is apparently in very good condition with very few traces of use. The black interior contrasts really well with the paint and the combination is just the icing on the cake. The dashboard is also free of cracks or signs of sun fading. The controls are apparently original controls in very good condition with some patina. All gauges and other functions in the interior are in a good and working condition, except for the lighting for the speedometer, which does not work. The meter reading cannot be guaranteed by the seller, but the condition speaks for itself. Mechanics: The seller informs that the engine and works very well and the car runs great on the road. As can be seen, the engine has been well maintained and had many parts replaced over the years. The engine has been continuously serviced and a folder with documentation is included. Inspected 2020/07/08 without remarks. The recipe for these lovely little cars is simple, charm the outside world with their design and entice car enthusiasts with worry-free, uncomplicated ownership.
