  • What type of inspection is performed on the cars?

    We try to inspect as many cars as we can, although this is not always possible. We do however conduct detailed interviews with potential sellers about the car's history, origin and condition.   • What happens if someone posts negative comments about my car?

    All comments are reviewed by our moderators, who ensures that the comments section is kept in good order. We will not approve derogatory or negative comments about the auctions that are irrelevant or unfounded. If you believe that a posted comment violates our commenting guidelines, please contact support@biddershighway.com and we will review the matter as soon as possible.

  • Can I contact the seller during the auction?

    You can ask questions in the auction's comments field, where the seller is also given the opportunity to respond. To maintain good tone, all comments are moderated by us. If a comment is considered to violate our comment rules, it will not be approved.

  • Do I get to approve my auction listing before the auction goes live?

    Yes. Before the auction is posted under “live” you will receive a link where you can preview all the information and see exactly how the auction will look when it is displayed publicly.

  • Do I have to offer viewings of the car during the auction?

    No, your vehicle can stay in a garage or on your driveway while the auction is going on. The pictures and text are so detailed and complete in and of themselves. However, it may be a good idea to offer potential bidders a viewing of the car at a time that suits you if someone shows interest, but this is entirely up to you as the seller.

  • Will you help me photograph my vehicle?

    Certainly! We have our own photographers, and a wide network of photographers that covers most of Sweden where we can offer professional photography at affordable prices. The invoice for the photography comes when the work is done and usually ends up between 2000-4000sek incl. VAT depending on where in the country you are located.

  • How is my vehicle documented and photographed?

    Detailed and well-crafted photo documentation is incredibly important for a bidder to be able to bid on your car with confidence. Each auction should have an average of 100 or more photos where the entire object is thoroughly documented and all possible defects are visible.

  • What information do I need to provide about the car?

    The more information you can provide us with, the better. Basic documentation such as ownership details and registration certificate is mandatory, but if you can supplement it with receipts, service history, previous owners, etc. it is a big plus that makes your car much more attractive to potential bidders.
