What happens if the bidding doesn't reach the reserve price?
If the reserve is not met, the three highest bidders will have the opportunity to place a final bid or meet the reserve price after the auction. These bids are then valid for 48 hours so that we have the opportunity to convey this to the seller. It is always first come, first served and often things go quickly, so it is important to check your email and respond quickly. If the seller chooses to waive any new bids, they can choose to wait a while and then relist their auction.
Bidders Highway also has the right to waive all or part of our fee to bridge the difference and enable a sale. This is not a guarantee and is always done in consultation with the buyer and seller.
