What's the difference between a max bid and a pre bid?
Before an auction goes live, there is always the opportunity to place a so-called advance bid on all items. This is a binding bid and will be displayed in its total amount when the auction starts.

You can always ask in the comments section if it's possible to come and view the car, but it is entirely up to the seller to grant a viewing. Note that buyers and sellers are prohibited from initiating separate negotiations on site as the item is handled exclusively by Bidders Highway during an ongoing auction.

The price you see when an auction is closed is the price the buyer pays the seller. In addition, the buyer pays a fee of 7.5% (VAT included) of the winning bid to Bidders Highway after the auction is closed. This fee is limited to a maximum of 75,000 SEK and a minimum of 5,000 SEK.

Once your vehicle has reached the desired reserve price and the auction is closed, Bidders Highway will first contact the buyer to charge the fee. Once this has been paid, we will make a digital introduction between buyer and seller to complete the payment and agree on the handover of the vehicle.

Once you have approved the execution of your listing, you cannot withdraw your item. If you choose to cancel your auction anyway, Bidders Highway will charge you the fee that a potential buyer would have paid if they had won the bid. More about this in our terms and conditions.

No. Bidding on your own auction strictly prohibited, whether under your own name or someone else's. If we discover any fraudulent bidding, we will immediately close the auction and report the matter to the police.

All comments are reviewed by our moderators, who ensures that the comments section is kept in good order. We will not approve derogatory or negative comments about the auctions that are irrelevant or unfounded. All questions are first reviewed and moderated by us to ensure good tone and relevance. It is up to each seller to answer any questions, so it is important that you actively follow your auction.

No, your vehicle can stay in a garage or on your driveway while the auction is going on. The pictures and text are so detailed and complete in and of themselves. However, it may be a good idea to offer potential bidders a viewing of the car at a time that suits you if someone shows interest, but this is entirely up to you as the seller.

Certainly! We have our own photographers, and a wide network of photographers that covers most of Sweden where we can offer professional photography at affordable prices. The invoice for the photography comes when the work is done and usually ends up between 2000-4000sek incl. VAT depending on where in the country you are located.

Yes, you may set a reserve price on your auction. If the bidding ends at a price lower than the reserve price, the car will not be sold. We are happy to help estimate an approximate price for the car if it's interesting to us, but remember that the market is always in control: The final price of your lot will be determined by what others are willing to pay for it.

We have experienced experts who can assess the value of your car depending on condition and model. Based on this, we can agree on a reasonable reservation price if you want it.
