  • What happens if I don't want to go through with my purchase?

    The currency in which fees are paid is determined by where an item has been accepted for sale. Items shipped within Sweden are valued, sold and paid for in Swedish Kronor (SEK). All additional fees for such items are in Swedish Kronor (SEK). The exchange rate quoted (e.g. Euro €) at the time of the auction is a current estimate and may vary depending on the time of sale.

    Some of our items are listed under the BUY NOW category. This means that the seller has chosen to list their car at a fixed price that guarantees a sale. These items have no set time limit. By being the first to click on BUY NOW, you can buy the item at the set price.

  • How much does it cost to buy a car on Bidders Highway?

    The price you see when an auction is closed is the price the buyer pays the seller. In addition, the buyer pays a fee of 7.5% (VAT included) of the winning bid to Bidders Highway after the auction is closed. This fee is limited to a maximum of 75,000 SEK and a minimum of 5,000 SEK.

    Once the auction has ended and there is a bid that meets the reserve price, Bidders Highway will make a digital introduction between you and the bidder with the winning bid so that you can agree on the desired payment method together.

    Once your vehicle has reached the desired reserve price and the auction is closed, Bidders Highway will first contact the buyer to charge the fee.     Yes, you may set a reserve price on your auction. If the bidding ends at a price lower than the reserve price, the car will not be sold. We are happy to help estimate an approximate price for the car if it's interesting to us, but remember that the market is always in control: The final price of your lot will be determined by what others are willing to pay for it.

  • How much does it cost to sell with Bidders Highway?

    Nothing! You list and sell your car on Bidders Highway completely free of charge. The seller receives 100% of the hammer price. Bidders Highway charges the buyer a fee of 7.5% of the auction's final price, up to a maximum cost of 75,000 SEK and a minimum of 5,000 SEK.
