Basic information & background
Volkswagen Golf is one of the world's best -selling cars and a model almost everyone knows well! This copy is unique in the fact that it has only gone 2200 miles and had a single owner from 1986 to 2020 where it was in the garage and was very rarely used. The condition is of course afterwards and it is in an absolute top condition both cosmetic and mechanically. Well -documented inspection history and also participated in a larger article in the magazine classics where it was noticed (see pictures under documentation)!
The car is a standard equipped model with the 1.6L engine and manual box, however, seat heat was chosen when ordering and is 100% original in the design.
Condition
Exterior: The car is completely stainless and never has rusted/repaired. It is so close to new condition with a couple of single very small stone shots/brands. Sparingly used and always stood in a hot garage which makes the car in very fine condition. The varnish is still glossy and fine thanks to EBN recently made ceramic lacquer processing. The original rims are also in very good condition and also the tires.
Interior. The interior is completely original, untouched and in an exemplary new condition. There are hardly any signs that the car has been used and is whole and clean in every way.
Mechanical: Spike and easy to start 1.6L engine with choke. Clutch/brakes etc feel very good. The gearbox works blamelessly.
Service history
Service book is not available for the car but it has been well maintained when the car has been used, noted that cam strap was changed in 2020. The last inspection was 2020/07 without remarks!
Summary
A popular car model that will be a safe investment for the future. Unique and fun history and fits just as well in a museum as in your own garage!
