German imported Morgan 4/4 from 1983. The car was imported to Sweden in 2004 and has had the same owner since then. Current odometer reading is 70085 miles, which translates to approx. 112790km on the odometer. The car was completely painted in 2003 and is today in a fine condition, ready to be enjoyed.

The engine is a 1.6-liter twincam four of approx. 100hp connected to a five-speed gearbox and rear-wheel drive.

Condition

The general condition is described by the owner as good and free of rust. Chrome details are new and the body is free from remarks such as e.g. dings and dents. The car had a slight impact at the rear and the authorized Morgan workshop had to change the shock absorbers and mounts. No plate damage occurred. The car was fully painted in 2003 and today only light wear has occurred, including a normal amount of stone chips and a paint damage on the right fender that has been sealed. Glass panes are in good condition with minor stone chips. Moldings, lamp lenses and emblems in very good condition. The classic spoke rims are undamaged and the tire depth measures approx. 6mm all around.

The interior is described as being in good condition. The chairs are free of damage to the material. Door panels and steps are in good condition. Instrument panel in good condition with no damage either. Steering wheel, controls and buttons in normal condition for age and mileage. All functions in the passenger compartment work as they should.

Engine is described as being in good condition. Gearbox and drivetrain as well. In 1997, the brake discs and brakes on all wheels were changed and the car has only traveled 12,000 km since then. Mechanically, everything works as intended.

Service history

The car has had an oil and filter change as well as lubrication in 2023. This year service was carried out in-house. The last inspection took place on 2024-05-28 with an approved result.

Summary

Beautiful British classic which, with its timeless design, has always been beautiful to look at. This example has had one owner on Swedish soil and is newly serviced, ready to go out on winding country roads again.
