Basic information and History

Austin Healey 3000 from 1959 which was delivered to its first owner in September that year. The car has a previous racing career and is still potent enough to keep up with larger machines. The car was imported to Sweden in 2018 and has today driven 155,444 km and comes in a tested and very nice condition! Ready to be enjoyed, either on e.g. private race events or just cruising around small roads with the wind blowing through your hair.

The car has papers showing that it was raced at various club events between the years 1983 and 1995. Log book and race program from this time are included with the vehicle.

Equipped with a three-liter six of approx. 130hp/230nm connected to a four-speed manual gearbox. The triple carburetors have been reviewed by a specialist and the car has also received a new exhaust system.

Condition

The car comes in a very nice "race condition" and is painted in race-inspired solid black matched with red sides and stripes across the car. There are marks and blemishes, but nothing that requires overhaul or repairs of any kind. Please look through the photos to see the charming condition with race patina and form your own opinion. The interior is in good condition and new carpet has been installed as well as tonneau covers and reupholstered seats.

Engine is in good condition and the car runs really well. Triple carburettors have, as previously mentioned in the text, gone through and play very nicely together. New exhaust system has been installed. Brakes are also in good condition.
