Basic Information & Background
Mercedes as a brand and E-Class as a model hardly needs any presentation! This particular model is probably one of the finer lower mile vehicles on the market and is tastefully in classic Silver metallic with blue full leather interior. Imported from Germany from the first owner and with only 3 users in Sweden, one of whom owned it for over 18 years! Feels like a time capsule behind the wheel and can be considered a very affordable model of the W210 generation.
Equipment
The car is well equipped with full leather interior, hardwood interior panels, navigation, electric seats, electric curtain, cruise control and comfort chassis. Ordered from the factory with the silky 4.3L V8 with 279hp provides good speed resources and a really nice ride on the road.
Condition
Exterior: This generation was notorious for rust on the body, and therefore this car was repainted in the same color as early as 2004 by Turebergs Lack on behalf of Mercedes. The body is virtually rust free except for around the keyhole on the tailgate. There are a couple of minor marks and blemishes (see photos) but is nevertheless considered very fresh for the age.
The original rims have clear coat erodation but are otherwise whole and fine. The tires are brand new 2022/05.
Interior. The blue leather still smells new, instrument panel in top condition and also steering wheel / gear lever knob. However, the leather has dried in some places and shows some slight wear at the entrance / exit side. The rear seat specifically would deserve a reconditioning to look as good as the rest of the car.
Mechanically. The car runs and drives on the road just as it did in 2000 when it was new. New tires have been fitted to the original rims since May 2022, which were replaced in connection with the inspection, which resulted in blank papers! In 2008, the car got a brand new cluster in the workshop at 29000 km due to a fault in the original part, this was done by the owner who owned the car for 18 years until 2022. Total mileage is about 79000 km today. The car has been maintained over the years with few mechanical problems, however, it has only traveled 14000 km since 2015 and a service would be recommended despite the low miles. The car drives fantastic with comfort that the model is recognized for!

A future classic well worth preserving for future generations, the popularity among these luxury cars from Mercedes especially in the second-hand market as a Modern Classic means that the second-hand value is very good, which gives a nice overall calculation for car ownership.
