Basic information and history
2003 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG imported from Japan. The import took place in the summer of 2019 and the car has had two owners on Swedish soil. Total mileage according to the meter is 170200km. Current owner cannot guarantee meter reading. The car has undergone both upgrades and a proper review of the mechanics by the current owner who runs an enthusiast workshop in his spare time. Very new and changed parts both in the passenger compartment and under the hood.

Equipped with a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 with an original output of 475hp/700nm connected to a 5-speed automatic transmission. Engine has undergone upgrades as detailed below. Estimated effect today is approx. 600+ hp.

Condition
The general condition of the bodywork is described as incredibly well maintained, especially underneath. Exterior modifications are a small spoiler on the tailgate and 19" Grossen rims. Original rims with new tires included. The body is free of dents, worse scratches and door knocks. The body is also rust free. The paintwork is described as being in new condition and in May 2024 a 2- step polishing was carried out. Front and rear bumpers were painted in 2022. The headlight glass was replaced in 2022. The rims are in good condition and the rear tires are new.
The interior is described as being in good condition. The seats and rear seat have age wearing on the surface, but no cracks in the leather. Door panels and door sills in good condition, however, usual wear on the driver's door. Instrument panel in good condition. Buttons and controls in good condition. Inner ceiling in very good condition. All electronics in the passenger compartment work as intended.
Engine condition is described as 100%. Performed upgrades are listed further up in the ad. The gearbox and driveline are described as being in as good condition as the engine. The condition of the brakes is described as good and new brake pads were installed in 2022. Mechanically, everything works as intended.
Service history
The service book from Japan comes with the vehicle and has 6 stamps in it. The last service was carried out in January 2024 on the car and included compressor oil, engine oil, filter, air filter, cabin filter. Last inspection took place in October 2023.
Under the current owner, the car has had the following done: New radiator and AC condenser. Everything in the front trailer is new and the parts are from Lemförder. New front wheel bearings. New OEM crankshaft pulley and front stuffing box. New packing box on rear crankshaft. Gearbox has received new seals and a flush. New OEM blue top Solenoids that make the box shift faster. New keypads for seat adjustment on both sides. Compressor is renovated with, among other things, water polishing, new bearings and new seals. Oil filter housing has received new seals and water polished. Valve covers are freshly painted with real 2K car paint. New crankcase ventilation hoses. New Airmatic air compressor and new Airmatic valve block. New fuel pump module and fuel filter. New Arnott air bellows at the rear.
Summary
A very well-maintained example of AMG's sharp E55 that has received a large amount of new and changed in recent times. Perfect vehicle for those who want to take the family with them but still outrun significantly more expensive vehicles!
