Basic information and history
This car is a Mercedes-Benz 230 W123 with a fantastic history. The car was bought in 1979 from Philipson in Stockholm. This example was used for the first 6 months as a company car internally within the Mercedes-Benz benefit long before company cars, private leasing and benefit cars existed. First owner received delivery in 1980 and used the car gently until 2008 when it was stored in the owners warm garage in his villa. Once a year from 2008 to 2022, the car was driven to the Ministry of Transport to be checked. Each inspection paper is of course saved as well as all other documentation. The car has only had one user between 1980 and 2022 and is in very good condition.
Today it is being sold by a Mercedes-Benz collector who is going to reduce his collection by a few cars.
The odometer reading shows only 145,390 KM. It is possible to follow the meter reading via all inspection documents.
Equipment and options
When the car was delivered new, the original roof rack was ordered together with the period wind deflector and baroque rims. The original capsules remain for the car according to the image material.
Condition
This example doesn't even show scratches on the step, the tailgate under the carpet is like new, with no wear on the interior, and an engine compartment that is very well maintained.
The interior presents like new after the blankets were removed as protected upholstery since new. In addition, it is upholstery washed to really bring out the original shine.
The sunroof has an uncertain function. It grabs the ceiling when it opens and can risk scratching. Therefore, the owner wants to say it is out of order even though it is working. And up to the next owner to adjust.
