2009 Jaguar XK
Basic information and history
The Jaguar XK is a classic 2+2 Grand Tourer perfect for long trips along both highways and country roads. The car was launched in 1996 and was produced until 2014. Only two generations were produced during that time. The second generation XK was presented in 2005 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The design is by Ian Callum, known for his work at Ford, TWR and Aston Martin, among others.
This Jaguar XK Coupé was sold new in Florence in Italy and came to Sweden in 2014 from Germany. In Sweden, the car has been enjoyed by 9 owners. This fine GT wagon comes with a 4.2-liter V8 of approx. 300hp/410nm connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Perfect recipe for a pleasant driving experience! The mileage is as of today 116.270 km and the meter reading can be guaranteed.
Equipment and options
Well equipped as any Grand Tourer should be. The dark blue paint with light leather is a classic and well suited combination. In terms of equipment, in addition to infotainment systems with navigation, we also find:
Double electric chairs with memory
Multifunction steering wheel with cruise control and phone buttons
Sport mode
with more
Condition
The car is perceived to be in good condition throughout. We have been informed by the current owner that there is a small paint damage of approx. 2x1mm on the left door. However, no other bumps or dents. Front window has a small stone chip. There are minor scratches and stone chips on the front, as well as a worse stone chip that can be seen in the picture, but nothing too noticeable. The Jaguar emblem in the front has been stone chipped and looks cracked. The left rear view mirror has a small dent in the plastic frame, but nothing that interferes with function. Overall fine in the paint and the wear is within normal considering the miles and year.
The interior of the car is in good condition. The chairs have coped well with worse wear such as cracks and other boring things. Buttons, controls and screen are in good condition. Steps and door sides have coped well with the usual wear and tear from getting in and out. There is a thin longer mark on the passenger seat. It looks like it could easily be spruced up by someone who works with leather. There are marks at the fastening of the belt on the driver's side.
Mechanically, the car is described as purring and going as a Jaguar should! Under the hood everything looks nice and clean and no leaks have been noted from either engine or box. Underneath, the condition is as good as the rest of the car. No rust or anything else remarkable is visible. The rims have some scuffs and small marks on them, but nothing that creates imbalance or looks bad from a distance. The tire's tread depth is measured at approx. 4 mm. Brakes are also described as being in good condition.
Feel free to look through all our pictures to form an idea of the car's condition. If you have questions, these can most easily be asked directly in the comment section.
Service history
The service book is well filled out and the last service was carried out at an authorized Jaguar workshop at 9432 km. Last inspection was carried out on 2023-08-15.
Summary
A perfect Grand Tourer in a beautiful and well suited color combination with great V8 and excellent comfort!
