2012 Citroen DS3 Racing
Basic information and History
Fantastic French hothatch in the form of a Citroen DS3 Racing. The car was built as a homologation vehicle by the engineers at Citroen's racing division and differs from other DS3s. According to information, only 2400 has been built, thus making it a potential future, if not already current, collector's car. Of the 2,400 built, according to information, only about thirty were sold to Sweden. With a weight of approx. 1165kg, 1.6-liter turbocharged four at 207hp/275nm and a 6-speed manual box, the French have laid the groundwork for a fun driving experience.

The interior features sports seats in leather/alcantara and several carbon fiber details, but also AC, stereo and infotainment for those moments when you are forced to leave the country's back roads for the city's red light race between the queues

Condition
The condition of the car is consistently good for its approx. 126,000 kilometers on the odometer during a period of ten years on our roads, but traces of use are obviously there. In terms of bodywork, we find, among other things, a dent on the hood. Otherwise, the owner describes that the car is free of rust and in a mechanically good condition. On the bodywork, there is some clear coat wear on the carbon fiber parts and minor damage to the splitter in the front. There are also minor scratches on the rear bumper and on the side spoiler. The rims are just newly purchased from Citroen and come with new tires. The battery is also new. With a bit of polishing by a good restorer, this little GTI wagon can look well brilliant!
Inside of the vehicle, we find normal wear on e.g. the driver's seat. The steering wheel has minor marks from use. On the back of the chairs there are minor marks and dirt. Otherwise, the interior is perceived to be in a normal condition considering the age and mileage.
