Background & information
This copy originally comes from Michigan USA and was exported to Sweden in 2008. The car first ended up in Dalarna County where it was used by two previous owners. The current owner bought it from a gentleman in Ytterhogdal who had mounted yellow warning lights on the car, which the current owner removed. Buick manufactured the Super model between the years 1940-1958. The car was manufactured in several different variants such as sedan, coupe, station wagon and convertible.

Condition
The paint is in good working order for its age with a certain patina. The current owner has had eyelids mounted on the front lights.

The car is in working order and nice considering its age. Works well in engine and gearbox. Starts immediately and runs smoothly and nicely in the machine. The hood tilt-opens from the side with the option to open from both the right and left side.

There are small spots with surface rust in some places around the car such as in joints etc. But considering the car's age, it is in good working order.

Dented on the 3 ribbed chrome strip on the right rear fender. The right rearview mirror is slightly loose. The white tire sides give a nice impression for their age. The right front hub cap is missing. Chrome release on the front bumper sides, other chrome is in good condition. There is surface rust under the car but nothing is rusted through. An incipient rust hole for the spare tire holder under the car. In the luggage there is surface rust under the carpet but nothing is rusted through.

As far as the seller knows, the upholstery is original. Gray fabric upholstery on sofas with age wear. Floor mats in the same standard. Green ceiling that has cracks at the left side and rear. The gray fabric on the interior doors is fine for its age.

Is the original stereo in the car but it is out of order. Retrofitted modern stereo located under the right side of the instrument panel.

Summary
A wonderful American who really takes its place on the road. Funny curiosity about the car is that the current owner has participated in 3 women's rallies over the years and escorted bridal couples with the car. This specimen, also called "Donnan" by its owner, has made several older viewers remember back to the early 50's.
