1992 Buick Park Avenue
American Silk-Smooth Everyday Luxury: 1992 Buick Park Avenue
This car was privately imported to Sweden from Holland in 1998, where it was originally purchased new. The current owner acquired the vehicle from a friend who, due to significant vision loss, decided to sell it. The car has not been driven in winter conditions since it arrived in Sweden. With nearly 290,000 km on the clock, it remains in excellent condition. The seat padding has been replaced to maintain the vehicle's outstanding comfort. It comes with complete documentation from 1998 onwards, including a binder with service records, parts purchases, and more. The car also includes a new rear light bar approved for use in Sweden, which can replace the aftermarket blinkers currently installed. A unique feature of this luxurious ride is its registration for 6 passengers. An interesting tidbit is that the emblem mounted on the front was personally gifted by Prince Rainier III of Monaco!

Condition
According to the current owner: "Despite the car's age, there is no rust on the body, thanks to the fact that it has never been driven in winter in Sweden. Regular rust protection treatments have been carried out. The left rear door may have been repainted as there is a slight color difference." The paint is described as being in very good condition considering its age, with the previous owner having maintained it by sealing the paint several times. Chrome and trim are in very good condition. The headlights have some surface dullness but should be polishable. The wheels are in good condition with no damage, and the tire tread measures approximately 5-6mm all around.
The interior shows light patina on the upholstery and rear shelf. The headliner is okay but has lost some of its original tightness. As previously mentioned, the front seats have been reupholstered to maintain the car's excellent comfort. However, the driver’s seat has a small burn mark. The door panels and threshold trims are in good condition with no issues. The right passenger's sill has a crack about 3 cm long. The lower left corner of the instrument panel has a cracked surface. The driver's seat control panel has worn areas. The A/C unfortunately does not work, and the oil pressure gauge does not indicate. Other functions in the cabin are without issues.
The engine runs smoothly, and the transmission operates without any issues or unusual noises. The drivetrain functions well, and the brakes are in good condition. There is a slight vibration during hard braking. Mechanically, everything functions properly.
