Basic Information & Background
It is said that a true car enthusiast should own an Alfa Romeo at least once in their life. The Giulia is without a doubt a model that is our favorite but also the seller's as he has had several in the stable over the years! The Giulia is a beautiful Bertone-designed sports coupé that was available in several different versions, e.g. this one which is a GT 1300 Junior with 1.3 L Twin-Cam four at 87hp. The Giulia is a sought-after model that also has a successful racing past and is still used in classic sports car competitions around the world.
This example was originally sold new in Germany and later ended up in Finland (in a museum, among other things) and was imported to Sweden in 2007. The car has a well-documented history with an awful lot of receipts, inspection reports, etc. and has been well taken care of over the years. It has had only 4 owners of which 2 are private individuals in Sweden and is now ready for the next one who wants to enjoy this fantastic Italian icon!
Condition
Exterior: The car was painted in 2017 and has held up well over the years, the paintwork is in very good condition as the pictures show and according to the info has no remarks other than normal wear on the lower edge of the body. No dents or visible rust.
Interior: The Bertone designed interior is in good condition with some wear, the seats are complete and fine with some patina, the back seat is in very good condition and the roof has some stains on the back edge. Wood veneer instrument panel presents itself very well with its nice looking (and working) analogue gauges.
Mechanical: Inspected in November 2021 without remarks and is now both tax and inspection exempt. The engine has been refurbished once over the years and the gearbox feels tight and without scraping between gears. The mileage is only 5400 miles, but cannot be guaranteed and is sold as "TMU" (True mileage unknown). A large amount of inspection reports, invoices and history are preserved in a folder that comes with the purchase!
Summary
A stunningly beautiful and well-renovated example of a classic Italian icon that both runs and looks as it should! These models have had a very stable price picture and fine examples like this will be sought after on the market in the future.
