1986 Ferrari 328 GTS
Basic information and history
The Ferrari 328 GTS was designed by the Pininfarina design studio and was produced between 1985 and 1989. The car was first presented in 1985 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The model is considered by enthusiasts to be one of the most reliable and useful Ferraris available. The bodywork is largely hand-built by world-renowned Carozzeria Scaglietti. The opinion is influenced above all by the fact that a large part of service and work can be carried out without the engine having to be lowered. The car's name 328 comes from a combination of the car's engine volume, 3.2 litres, and the number of cylinders, 8. The GTS model, unlike the GTB, comes in Targa design. A total of 6,068 GTSs were built.
This Azzuro blue 328 GTS from 1986 comes in a nice used condition with about 86.000 km on the odometer. In total, the car has had 6 owners according to the Swedish Transport Agency. 3.2-liter V8 of approx. 270hp/304nm coupled to a 5-speed manual box. The 0-100 sprint should take approx. 6.4 seconds and the top speed is said to be about 260km/h. The car was sold new in Italy to Saudi where its first owner was a Saudi prince. The current owner bought the car in 2007 and has enjoyed it for 16 years. At the time of writing, the car has travelled 85,961 km.

Condition
The exterior of the car is perceived to be in good working condition. Normal age-related wear and tear is documented. Current owner announces, among other things, that there is a bubble on the hood due to ignorant attempt to close this one. There are small stone chips in the front and on the grille as well as paint chips and surface rust under the hood. No comments have been received on chrome, mouldings or emblems. The front has scratches and marks in the paint, mostly notices in the front left corner. There are also marks on the right rear documented. From the waist down, repainting has taken place. This was carried out in 2022 by a Ferrari-approved paint shop. The car's original rims are in good condition except small marks, and come with approx. 7mm pattern depth. Please look through all the pictures to get an idea of the condition.
The interior of the car looks nice, but there are traces of use over the years. The driver's seat has wear in the form of cracked paint. The passenger seat looks to have survived the years somewhat better, but it too looks dry in its paint. The door panels also have traces of dirt and dry paint. The current owner states that the steering wheel and controls are worn with normal wear and tear on the steering wheel and light controls that have cracked and been glued together. However, the function is without errors. The inner roof has some wear. The rubber is damaged on the right locking lever. The tachometer works sporadically and the A/C leaks. Overall good used condition and could be extremely nice with a proper detailing and new paint on e.g. the chairs.
Engine and gearbox are described by the current owner as working perfectly. Brakes come without remarks. Under the hood it looks nice and clean. Hoses and more look perfect. The top has the usual paint chipping but nothing that interferes with function. The car has gone on long trips through Europe and worked fine. Underneath, it looks nice almost like surface rust on replaceable parts. The car was last inspected on 11-10-2022.
