It underwent a comprehensive full restoration in 2020, carried out by an experienced Volvo mechanic with a passion for classic cars. During the restoration, the car received new interior upholstery, and both the engine, transmission, and rear axle were carefully overhauled to top condition.

Condition

The body underwent a thorough restoration in 2019 and is in very good condition. There are no major scratches or dents, and according to the seller, the body is rust-free. During the restoration, the car received a new paint job, and it was completely disassembled for the work. The windshield has been replaced with a new one, while the other windows are in decent condition. The headlights are new, and the rest of the lighting is in working condition.

The wheels are newly refurbished and free from damage, with new tires in the correct dimensions. The interior has also been updated with new upholstery, mats, and door panels. The seats are in very good condition with no damage, but the threshold plates show some wear. There is a crack in the dashboard, and unfortunately, the new headliner is not fully stretched. The steering wheel, controls, and buttons are in good working condition.

The engine is a newly overhauled B16, bored to 0.30, with a polished crankshaft and a refurbished cylinder head. The clutch, rear axle, and transmission have also been overhauled. The brakes are newly refurbished with new cylinders, pipes, and drums. Overall, the car is in very good condition both technically and aesthetically, with a few minor imperfections.

Oil and filter were changed in 2023.
