1996 BMW M3 3.2 Cabriolet

Basic Information & Background

The BMW M3, a long-established and recognized name in the car industry and throughout the years has been a benchmark for other manufacturers' sports sedans, sports coupes and in this case convertibles. The model was developed to be used both for everyday use and as an enthusiast's car, and thus it is becoming very difficult to find low-mileage original cars in good condition and with a good history!

This is a 1996 facelift with the newer and desirable 3.2L engine and manual transmission. The car was already imported in 1999 from Germany and has lived a very kind and quiet life here in Sweden. The car has had few owners and appears to have been well taken care of over the years. Unique about the car is without a doubt the lovely 2-tone individual leather upholstery that breaks off really nicely against the black paint!

The seller has owned the car since 2020 and has driven it very sparingly over the years and it has always been in a warm garage when not in use. The odometer reading is a low 94250km and guaranteed by the seller.


Condition

Exterior: The seller says that the car is in good condition with a straight and nice original body. There are a couple of minor marks that are also documented in the album and a small rust stain on the edge of the tailgate. The AC Schnitzer rims are in very good condition and period for the model. Interior: The super cool interior upholstery is apparently in very good condition and without major complaints. The instrument panel and center console have some signs of age but still present themselves well, and there is some glue residue left on the passenger side of the panel.. The controls appear to be original controls in very good condition. All gauges and other functions in the interior are in a very nice and working condition and the number currently stands. of approx. 94250km and can be guaranteed by the seller. There is also a newly installed Pioneer stereo DEH-X9600BT with new cables, front/rear speakers, power amplifier in the luggage, bluetooth, phone and USB input. Mechanics: The seller informs that the entire driveline including engine, gearbox and rear axle works flawlessly and runs great on the road. BMW's straight sixes are recognized for their fine ride, sound character and performance and this one does not disappoint. Last service was carried out approx. 400 miles ago by Häggenäs Automobile AB on 2020/01/21 and was inspected without remarks on 2022/07. Service book and inspection report available.
