1966 Volvo PV Sport barnfind

Basic information
The Volvo PV 544 was produced by Volvo from 1958 until 1965. It was a continuation of the PV 444 and became more successful than its predecessor. In total, a quarter of a million copies of the model were produced. Many changes came to the new PV, but above all the visibility from the passenger compartment, now with its larger windows, was considerably much better. The back seat had become wider and the car was approved for three passengers in the back seat. The front seats were made thinner so that passengers in the back would have a more spacious and comfortable experience.
This PV Sport was one of the last 100 to roll off the production line in the Lundby factory in the fall of 1965. The car has been retired since June 23, 1992 and is being auctioned as a project. The current owner has had the car parked away in a barn for the last 15 years, but unfortunately cannot find the time to complete the project.
Condition
The car has been rustproofed but needs to be completed with paint and assembly. Engine is mounted but status is unknown. The car is not complete and is missing parts.
