Domestically sold classic in nice used condition, 1986 Volvo 244 with only 5 users, of which the current owner bought the car from an elderly lady who owned it since 93. The odometer reading is relatively, for the model, low 170450km. With inspection reports and other information, the meter setting can be guaranteed. The car is delivered newly polished and waxed to a new enthusiastic owner!

Condition

The general condition of the bodywork is described as very good. Bodywork is free of damage, dents, rust or other dullness. The condition of the paintwork is described as good considering the age of the car. The glass windows are in good condition and the front window has been replaced with a new one. Chrome, moldings and lens in good condition for the age of the car. Rims in good condition with hubcaps. The front tires were fitted in June and the rear tires measure approx. 3mm remaining pattern depth. There is some minor surface wear in places, e.g. around moldings and on bumpers, but the car gives a very nice overall impression.

The general condition of the interior is described as good. The seats are completely free of tears or damage and with only a little typical rubbing on the driver's seat. Door panels in good condition with normal surface wear from stepping in and out. Steering wheel, buttons and controls in good condition. Instrument panel has a dry crack in it. Inner ceiling in good condition. All functions in the passenger compartment work as they should.

Engine is described as being in very good condition. Gearbox and drivetrain in good condition with no noise or complaints. Brakes are in good condition and the rear yokes were repacked in 2017. Mechanically, everything works as intended.

Service history

Last service was performed on 2023-07-12 at 170,000km by the current owner. A front spring has been replaced and a new one is included. Before the inspection on 2024-06-11, the tank was also changed. The service book is completed up to 90,000 km. Timing belt change is noted to have taken place at 167858km. There are some previous inspection reports included.
