Toyota Corolla is a name that has always been associated with quality and reliability, and the E90 generation built between 1987 - 1995 is one of the very best. This generation is recognized for being one of the most well-built models and there are very few with the history, low mileage and condition that this particular one offers.
The model was sold in different versions and with different engines, but one of the most sold is clearly this example, which is a 3-door XLi with the recognized and bulletproof 1.3L transverse 4-cylinder engine. An engine that provides enough power but with great reliability and also a very low fuel consumption.
This is a very nice and well-kept Swedish-sold original car, with only 2 owners since new and low miles, which is in amazingly good condition for its age. It is 100% original in workmanship and has been serviced and maintained very well since new and wear parts have been replaced as needed. The car is incredibly well documented and it comes with a large folder full of receipts, protocols and other information. A truly unique opportunity for the original fan to become the owner of a time capsule from 1991 when Japanese small cars were popular in Sweden.
The seller says that it was a relative who bought the car new at Ronnys Bil (Toyota) in Falun on 04/25/1991. He owned it until 05/23/2011 when the seller bought it from him. It has more or less only been driven in the area around Falun since it was new. The longest trip the seller drove with it was round trip Arlanda in 2014 in connection with a trip abroad. The car has always been stored in a garage since it was new and has been driven very sparingly in winter over the years.
Condition
Exterior: The car is in incredibly fine condition and has been very well looked after over the years. The varnish has a really nice luster with few remarks. The seller says that the car is stainless on the body and the moldings, chrome details and glass parts are in good condition, as are the original wheels, which have some patina but are undamaged. There are also a couple of minor stone chips and minor dents, but apart from that the car presents itself very well. The seller would also like to say that the left headlight, front bumper and left front fender were replaced in 1992 after a minor crash at low speed but are absolutely nothing that can be seen today and nothing that affects the car's condition, quality or function. Interior: The original interior is also in top condition and both feels and smells new. Today there are protective covers on the seats, but as can be seen in the photos in the album, the original upholstery is in mint condition. Instrument panel, steering wheel and other parts are in the same fine condition and the only remarks are a couple of diodes in the buttons that do not work and seat heating on the passenger side. Mechanically: The car runs very well mechanically and mechanically and electrically works exactly as it should. It shifts smoothly, the clutch feels like new, the engine pulls nicely and there are no known leaks under the car. Noted is very little oil moisture around the valve cover gasket at the front and the seller says that the engine draws no oil. The most recent service was carried out by the seller on 09/26/2020, including changing the oil, filter, spark plug and air filter and, as mentioned, there is a large amount of previous service and inspection protocols. Brakes are in good condition all around and the tires have about 7 mm of tread left.
The car was inspected on 2022-08-12, the car has no complaints and the original service book and instruction manuals are included.
