The Porsche 996 was produced between the years 1998 to 2004. It is part of the 911 series and was the successor to the Porsche 993. The Porsche 996 was Porsche's first 911 with a liquid-cooled engine.
Design: The 996 introduced a new design for the 911 range, with a more streamlined and modern look compared to its predecessor. It had a slimmer body shape with integrated headlights and a more rounded appearance.
Engine: The 996 Carrera 2 was launched with a 3.4-liter boxer six for the early models, producing around 296 horsepower. Generation 2 introduced in 2002 featured a face-lift and a 320 horsepower 3.6-liter engine.
This example is of the facelift models and can be considered to be in very good condition and extremely low mileage with only 26,079 km on the odometer. This specimen was imported from Germany and registered in Sweden on 05/01/2005.

Solid equipment list, it is said that this was one of Porsche's own show cars during the Frankfurt show, however, this cannot be confirmed by the seller.

The car is solid red with a GT3 optics kit fitted from the factory which meant a fixed rear spoiler, a more aerodynamic front and wider side skirts.
The wheels are 18 inches with red lacquered brake calipers that bite into the ventilated shoes all around.
The car is equipped with a sports exhaust system which is valve controlled from inside the passenger compartment via a push of a button.
An unusual accessory is that the car is equipped with a rear windscreen wiper.
Interior: Sports seats with matching red lacquered backrests. Red contrast stitching along the seats and steering wheel. Extended leather and Alcantara-clad headliner with opening sunroof. Door step, center console, center panel, shift lever and around the speakers are covered with carbon fiber.
The Porsche crest embroidered in the headrests. Stylish red seat belts. Extended stereo by the brand Bose.
Large navigation system, 2-zone climate control and heating in the front seats.
Condition
The car gives a very nice impression, there are minor scratch marks on the rims and minor stone chips and minor scratches on the front, which the seller refers to in the photo documentation. A small stone chip in the windshield is noted.
Inside it is clean and tidy, minor wear on the driver's seat according to the picture material.
Service history
3 keys with associated documentation case are available for the car.
The car was previously serviced by Lindvall car, which is well-known in Porsche circles, and other service is carried out by Porsche Stockholm.
