1967 Opel Kadett B Rallye

Basic information and History

An incredibly nice and well-documented Opel Kadett B Rallye in top condition! A youngtimer sports coupe that is a genuine "Rallye" model in a really nice silver paint job with black painted stripes. The "fastback" design is recognizable from many other models from the same era and gives the model a very sporty look. The engine is a 1.1L 4-cylinder engine with a manual transmission that drives the rear wheels as it should and offers great handling.

This well-documented example was originally sold in Germany and came to Sweden in 2020, where it has since undergone a complete restoration of the bodywork and is now presented in a fantastically fine restored condition.

Condition

Exterior: The car is in a fantastically nicely restored and completely stainless condition. In addition to a professionally done full paint job, kick boxes and fenders were also changed and the car is completely free of damage. All glass parts are in good condition, as are the moldings and emblems. All lighting works including the extra lights without any complaints and the rims are as nice as when the car was delivered! Interior: A very nice original black vinyl interior on the seats, dash and door sides. Minimal signs of use and in amazingly fine condition. Dashboard and panels are in very good condition with some patina and very few traces of age/use. Wooden sports steering wheel in good condition. No comments on the functions inside and the car works both mechanically and electrically exactly as it should. Mechanics: The 1.1L engine and the nice 4-speed gearbox run amazingly well and feel as lively as when it was new! The car is well documented with many receipts and documents as well as the original instruction manual. Last service was recently carried out by the seller and was inspected on 2020-07-31 and is now both tax and inspection exempt.
Brakes and chassis are in very good condition, as are the tires with a lot of tread left. The underside of the car is in an unusually fine condition with no remarks and there are no known leaks. The odometer reading is only 5289 km but has probably already been driven around and is not guaranteed by the seller. The Kadett Rallye was one of the brand's sportier models and the neater design still stands up well and it is an extremely beautiful car with fine proportions when you see it in real life.
