Condition
The car comes in a very nice restored condition. The classic paintwork in British Racing Green sits nicely against the sheet metal, which looks very straight. When renovating the car, great focus has been on restoring the car to its original condition and charm. The chrome is in perfect condition all around. Lantern glass as well. During documentation, we have only found two small marks in the paint and these are photographed. The soft top is in perfect condition and it comes with a matching tonneau cover that matches the car's interior. The rims and its accessories are in very good condition with approx. 7mm tread depth left on the Michelin tires.
The interior is described by the current owner as being in original condition. Instrument panel and gauges in excellent condition. The steering wheel as well. The original steering wheel is also included with the car. The chairs only have some light seat wear and dirt on the backs, but nothing conspicuously bad. Door sides in very good condition without usual wear. A more modern stereo is installed. Windows are of course included, but these have never been used as the car was only allowed to drive on the sunniest of days.
The condition of the engine is described as original. In the engine compartment it is clean and tidy with twin S/U carburettors and parts that give a very nice original look. The car has a new battery. Gearbox and drivetrain are described as being in good condition. Brakes as well. Mechanically, everything works as it should.
Service
Annual service is carried out at British Car in Löddeköping in 2023. Previous service records are not available. The last inspection took place in 2022 and the car is now inspection exempt.
Summary
