Condition

The general condition is very nice considering the age. Structurally, the car is very good condition and of course free of rust. The car has been completely renovated underneath and has been reinforced, blasted and powder coated. All wear parts have also been replaced and the underside looks very nice today! The paintwork is older and has various use and age wear all around. Before arriving to Sweden, it has been repainted. Glass panes are in good condition. The Wolfrace rims are undamaged but have surface wear. The tires fitted are older but still have good patterns.

Interior is in good condition but slightly sun faded. The chairs are without damage to the material. Steering wheel, buttons, instruments and controls have normal age wear. Inner ceiling in good condition. All electronics in the passenger compartment work as intended.

Engine is in good condition. Comp has been measured and it is high and even. Oil pressure has also been checked when the engine is warm and at idle. No remarks on this and the car has no cooling problems either. Engine has had the port topped and manifolds for a little more power. Gearbox and drivetrain are described as being in good condition. Brakes have been renovated and new shock absorbers and other things you find underneath are in perfect order. Mechanically, everything works as it should.

Please look through all the pictures to form an idea of the condition of the vehicle. Questions can be asked in the question field and answered by the owner himself.

Summary

A mechanically and structurally very fine Lotus Esprit S1 from 1977. Perfect car to enjoy as is or have as a rolling project. A large part of all the renovation has already been done and with a little love the body and the whole car can become a very nice S1!

What is required in order to get it back in S1 body style?

  • SportsmanJune 10, 2024 22:51

  • AndGot24SellerJune 11, 2024 09:51

Well, in that case You have to remove the ’turbo’ parts.

  • SportsmanJune 11, 2024 17:04

  • AndGot24SellerJune 11, 2024 18:22

    Nej, dörrarna hänger inte.
