1999 Land Rover Discovery 2

HH56
Halmstad
Basic information and Background
A British classic in fantastic condition and a desirable color combination with green metallic and beige leather interior.

This example was sold new in Sweden and has only had one owner since new. The same owner registered the car for a period in England in November of 1999. The car was then brought home to Sweden again in 2010 and registered on 14-01-2010.

The car has been well maintained and driven very sparingly over the years and the total mileage is still sub 100,000 km.

After the last registration in Sweden, an engine failure warranted a full engine replacement. The stated mileage thus applies to the body, the engine has only run approx 10000km since installed.

Equipment and Options
This example is equipped with most of what Land Rover offered for the Discovery model. What stands out the most are the luxurious leather interior, the 3 glass roofs, and the extra seats in the back.

In addition to this, there are Airbags, a Cargo grid, Towbar, High & Low gear, Hill Decent, Air conditioning, Harman Kardon stereo, and Air suspension in the rear.

Condition
Overall, the car is in unusually good and fair condition based on the age and type of vehicle. Some exterior wear but nothing unusual. We refer to the detailed images for more information.

Inside, the car is fitted with luxurious beige full leather in overall very good condition, with only minor wear on the driver's seat and on the lower panel of the passenger door. The inner ceiling sags slightly. For more details see the pictures.

The seller states that all instrumentation functions as it should and no warning lights are illuminated.

Inspected 2022-12-05 at 98,730 km without any remarks.

Service history
There is scant information about the service history and the service book is missing, but the car appears to have been very well looked after, with wear parts replaced when necessary and service carried out according to plan. For example, the upper and lower spindle joints were changed in 2020.

The seller guarantees that the odometer reading is correct.

Engine replaced in 2011 at Sönners Bil & Motor Upplands Väsby.

Summary
It is rare to find such a nice Disco 2, also in the most sought after color combination with only one previous owner. Add to that minimal wear for the type of car, an almost new interior, and the engine replaced just under 10,000 km ago, making this a suitable vehicle both for collectors, enthusiasts, and everyday users.
