Basic information and History
A very unusual Swedish-sold Land Rover Defender 90 in pickup format, very few Defender 90 cars with the short chassis were sold in Sweden and even fewer in pickup version. This example is from 2003 and has the durable 5 cylinder 2.5 liter engine that delivers 122 healthy diesel horses. The car was delivered in October 2003 to its first owner. The vehicle has had a total of 6 owners of which the current owner has owned it 2 times first between 2015-2016 and from 2020 to the present.

Since 2014, the car has only driven 10,000 km.

Equipment and Options
The car has received a substantial boost in the form of extra equipment over the years.

On the exterior, there are steps, a roof arch for extra light mounted and an associated canopy for the flatbed. The bed has been fitted with a new anti-wear plywood and new original rubber mat.
The front grill has been updated for a more modern "Look" and the daytime running lights and turn signals have been replaced with more modern LED lights.
Comes with an LED ramp for the roof arch that is not mounted.
The tires have been replaced with rougher 33-inch General Grabber ATs that sit on black metal rims of an unknown make. Original sheet metal rims with associated tires included.
The car is raised by 4 inches with wider fender flares fitted for the correct stance


The interior of the car has also received a major lift, where a pair of new black leather seats from recognized Exmoor Trim in England are now installed. The original steering wheel has been replaced with a nice wooden steering wheel from Exmoor Trim  and the gear lever knobs have been replaced. The radio is new but not connected (Blaupunkt Frankfurt RCM 82 DAB, retro car stereo with Bluetooth and DAB that cost 6,500 SEK.

Condition
The seller states that the car is in very good condition, it has never been driven off-road in the seller's possession, but is only used as a hobby car.
There is no known damage to the bodywork and the car's paintwork is very nice. The car has previously been repainted when a branch fell on the roof. The roof is new and was repainted in 2020.
The right door is not locked using the central lock and needs to be locked manually.

No remarks on chrome, moldings or emblems.
No damage to rims or tires.
The tire's tread depth is 8mm.
No comments on lighting.
No leakage has been noted.
Engine and transmission are described as "Working well, starts easily

The car was last inspected on 2023-06-28 without any comments.

Summary
A Defender 90 Pickup in very good condition with heavy duty wheels that make the passability when offroading good. The car has a reliable diesel engine that pulls under 10 liter/100 km at moderate speed (90km/h). Low tax of 4,248 SEK per year. Only veichle is 3750 mm long and still able to pull up to 3500kg, which is unique and very practical. Attracts attention and joy wherever one comes from small children to elderly retired car enthusiasts. In addition, the car has survived well from rust and has a very nice paintwork all around which gives it a good impression, some think it still looks "new".
This model is very hard to find and does not appear on the used market very often. The fact that this particular example is in such good condition makes it even more unusual as most of the cars have been used hard during their lifetime.
