Basic Information & Background
The Lancia Delta Integrale is a very recognized name in the rally world where it was raced with great success, and in order to compete in the class the manufacturers had to produce street versions of the cars as homoalloy models. This item is a 16v HF Turbo model that came in the second facelift of the first generation and offered really nice speed resources with its four wheel drive and turbo engine. The car was originally designed by Giugiaro and this version got a really cool period fender flare like the rally car!
The car came to Sweden already in 2006. The last owner was former rally driver and motorsport profile Sören Nilsson who, among other things, drove the Delta Integrale and won the Swedish Rally in group N with the model. The car has been owned by enthusiasts over the years and well taken care of.
The model doesn't have a lot of equipment compared to other luxury models, but it got, among other things, electric lifts, power steering, central locking, etc. and everything works. It comes with a custom-built light arc with 3 extra lights, also painted in the color of the car.
Condition
Exterior: The car is in very good condition and well cared for. The car was recently painted at Helmia in Sunne. The only remarks we found are a minor rust attack on the left rear door sill and a small dent on the hood. No cracks or damage to those classic Lancia seats. All doors and hinges open smoothly and nicely and the body is well fitted. Please see the pictures for more info!
Interior: The interior is also in very good condition without the typical wear and tear damage to e.g. chairs.. Everything is complete, clean and in good condition. The interior is the "correct" gray color with color accents in alcantara.
Mechanical: Inspected March 2022 without remarks. The car is very precise in the box and engine and runs very nice and clean. Very good road holding thanks to sport dampers and sport springs which, despite being of a harder model, do not make the car too bumpy and uncomfortable on the road. Original springs included. The car also has new brakes that make sure the car stops when you want! The mileage is only 70000 km, but cannot be guaranteed and is sold as "TMU" (True mileage unknown).
Summary
A really nice example of a future classic with a relatively unusual and sought-after spec. This specimen is a very nice original variant of the Delta Integral. The last owner has owned a large number of copies over the years and says that this is a copy that feels very stable/safe/well maintained and in good condition.
