Basic information and history
The Harley-Davidson FX is considered the first factory-built custom motorcycle. It was built by combining the front suspension from the Sportster along with the chassis from the larger Big Twin bikes. The models from 1991 to 2018 are based on the Dyna Glide and fall into the middle segment among Harley's models.
Harley-Davidson FXDWG from 1994 rebuilt to current version in 2023. Rubber-suspended Evo engine of 1340cc that has run approx. 4000 miles and got Scream Eagle trim. The gearbox is 5-speed. Much new on the bike, including fuel hoses, tires and hoses, front and rear indicators, rear light, battery, handle, saddle, wheel bearing, license plate and more. The bike has had 9 previous owners.
Condition
The bike comes in a nice rebuilt condition and is described as lively and runs super well. Front hub cover has small dents according to current owner. There is also minor damage to the back screen. There are no remarks on chrome, moldings or emblems.
The saddle is new in good condition with a reptile pattern. This was carried out by SYBO. The tank has been foiled in a pepita pattern. Black steering wheel with recessed electrics. Black risers. Front screen included with purchase.
The CV carburettor is refurbished with gaskets and more. The lift is lowered 2" at the rear. Progressive shock absorbers are better used and had only driven 1000 km when installed. Rims and tires are in good condition. The tires come with approx. 10mm tread. Engine and gearbox are described by the current owner as being in very good condition. Brakes are described as being in good condition.
Service history
The last service was carried out in the spring, about 150 miles ago. There are no previous service records. The lift was last inspected on 2022-08-02. There are some receipts and papers on parts included.
