Basic information and History
The year is 1957 and Fiat releases its Nuovo 500 to compete with the other manufacturers in the microcar segment. The segment's main ingredient consisted of, among other things, small, sweet and agile, but above all an affordable car! Despite its small size, two adults, two children and a couple of suitcases could be packed in. Today, we might not take our partner and the kids on a European holiday in a Fiat 500, but why not out on a trip shopping for ice cream or a “fika” in something as incredibly charming as a yellow Fiat 500?

Impressive 0.5 liter of approx. 18hp/35nm connected to a four-speed manual box and rear-wheel drive takes you to approx. 80-85 km/h.
The car was imported to Sweden around 2003 and has since had 3 Swedish users. According to the trip meter, the mileage is 16,802 km. Whether this is correct or whether it has gone around a lap should be left unsaid, however, the overall condition speaks for the vehicle being taken care of over the years.
Equipment and Options
Microcars weren't known for their luxurious options or equipment lists, but rather a steering wheel, pedals and an engine crammed into a small lightweight body. In this case, however, an opening sun roof offers that little extra on the summer trip!
Condition
The body was renovated in 2004/2005 and received a new coat of the eye-catching yellow paint. Since then, normal wear and tear has appeared. The seller informs, among other things, a small barely visible defect on the passenger door, a small crack in the paint on the driver's door and some bubbles on the paint on the right side. Chrome, moldings and emblems are according to information without remarks. Glass parts are also described as being in good condition.

Inside, we find black seats, back seat and door sides, the upholstery of which is in good condition, except for a small hole in the passenger seat. The steering wheel has been replaced with a somewhat modern one. The incredibly sweet Veglia Borletti instrument is in good condition. The driver's door is missing a door handle.
The luggage compartment at the front, where the tank and spare wheel are located, looks neat and orderly. Minor surface rust is present on the wheel arches but does not look bad. At the back, we find the small half-liter engine, which is described by the seller as without remarks. Surface rust is present on some parts and all around, and a couple of drops in leakage have been noted when starting the engine. The function of the gearbox and brakes is described as good. Underneath, the vehicle has been protected from rust and looks fresh for its age. However, minor surface rust can be seen in the pictures.
Feel free to go through our photos of the vehicle to form an idea of the condition. For questions about condition or details, these can be asked directly in the comments section.
