Basic information and background
A fully serviced and well-documented example of Ducati's sought-after model GT1000 from the Sport Classic series.
These bikes were made as an homage to the Ducati riders of the 70's who modified their street bikes with parts they saw used on the racetracks like clip-on handlebars and rear-mounted footpegs. The retro-race look is obvious and the Sport Classic series have become popular collector's items for what they represent both in terms of heritage and relatively limited edition.
This particular bike was sold new in Sweden on 28.03.2007 and has had two users, the last of which also carried out some cosmetic updates but only rode 1000km. All updates can be restored to the original and all parts remain.
Equipment and Options
The reconstruction has been carried out by the current owner himself.
Only bolt-on mods with no structural fabrication has been carried out, which means that it is easy to restore to original condition. The updates include new tank (same as original), seat, rear lights in the form of an led-ramp from the USA, indicators from Watsen in Canada, new handlebars, rearview mirrors, front screen, and slip-ons from Italian Zard built for the GT 1000.
Service book, instruction book, double keys.
Original parts that remain to restore to the original condition are - the tank, rear fender, front fender, tail lights, turn signals, handlebars, saddle, luggage rack, rearview mirrors.
Condition
The seller states that the motorcycle is in very good condition, and everything works as it should.
Now rebuilt, but all original parts, including tank, retained for those who wish to restore the motorcycle. These are also in excellent condition.

The current owner has only driven 1000km and states that the motorcycle was previously serviced according to the specified interval.
Under his current ownership, it has been kept indoors as an ornament. We recommend a service due to age rather than mileage before hitting the road.
