1964 Chrysler 300K
Basic information and history
US-imported Chrysler 300K from 1964. The car was imported in 2011 and the odometer read 57,000 miles back then. The current owner is the only owner on swedish soil. Today, 13 years later, the car has traveled 68,000 miles, i.e. approx. 108800km or approx. 100-150 miles per year. The Chrysler 300K is a car from Chrysler's "letter series", which means it gets the K in the model name. A total of 3,022 examples have been produced, of which, according to the register, 8 of these are in Sweden. An unusual car on Swedish soil! The car comes in very good used condition and is exempt from inspection for the foreseeable future.

Original 413cui has been replaced with a proper 440cui RB 1970 connected to a 3-speed automatic and rear wheel drive.
Condition
The general condition of the bodywork is described as fantastic. There is no rust on the car and it has not been rust treated either. There are no dents or worse scratches. The paintwork is described as being in good condition. Glass panes, chrome, moldings and lantern glass as well. On the left rear fender there are some small marks documented and some paintwork above the right rear light. The rims, American Racing Torq Thrust 2 with spinners, are in very good condition and so are the tires. With these few remarks, the body gives a very good overall impression!
The interior is an original interior so there is various age wear, including tears and surface wear in the chairs as well as wear on the floor mats. The inner roof is in good condition and sits where it should. Instrument panel, buttons, steering wheel and controls in good condition. A more modern stereo and speakers have been installed. Door panels in good condition considering age.
Engine is described as being in good condition. Gearbox and drivetrain as well, without noise or complaints. Brakes also them in good condition without remark. Mechanically, everything works as intended.
Service history
The car has been serviced annually by the current owner, including lubrication, oil and filter change. The last inspection was carried out in 2017 and the car is now inspection exempt.
Summary
Rare Chrysler 300K with only one owner on Swedish soil. The car has been used on a long holiday in the year of purchase and otherwise for cruising and for exhibitions. The car has never run hot during use and has never failed the current owner. A very nice specimen of something unusual on our roads!
