1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupé
Named after the wealthy area of West Los Angeles, the Chevrolet Bel Air first rolled off the assembly line in 1950. The Bel Air Sports Coupé name was carried by 2-door hardtops between 1950 and 52 and from 1953 became a trim level rather than a model. The first-generation Bel Air was built between 1950 to 1954 and was replaced the following year in 1955. The second generation was well received by journalists and went by the epithet "the Hot One" in advertising campaigns. The name Bel Air was in the model catalog until 1975 when it stopped being manufactured on American soil.
This tastefully restored and award-winning 1957 example comes with a new 5.8-liter V8 and modern updates such as AC, tilt steering wheel, a bluetooth stereo etc. The car was renovated in the states and came to Sweden in 2011.
