2016 Cadillac ATS-V
The Cadillac ATS-V was developed to take market share from its German competitors. The goal was to produce a car that was faster on the track and more affordable than a BMW M3/M4 or a Mercedes C63. Cadillac showed that it had taken the task very seriously when it launched the ATS-V. The model proved to be faster around most tracks in various comparisons in the press. Inside, the model exuded sporty luxury with Alcantara split leather-covered Recaro seats, an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel.
The ATS V was available either as a coupe or in a sedan version. On the European market, the car was only offered with an automatic transmission.
This car was sold new in Sweden and has had 7 registered owners. Sold new by Hedin car in Gothenburg.
The engine is a twin scroll Turbo fed V6.a of 3.6L. The motor produces an output of 470 hp and does 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 305 km/h!
Thanks to GM's own developed damper also called Magnetic Ride, you can adjust the nature of the suspension in different situations. Funny curiosity is that GM is a subcontractor to a bunch of other car manufacturers including Ferrari who use the same suspension system.
Equipment and Options
The Americans are good at packaging the equipment in their various car models where most things are included. Cadillac is no exception and there were only a few optional extras.
This copy has the 2 most important accessories, which is the exterior carbon fiber package also called the performance pack. This meant a more aggressive diffuser in carbon fiber front and rear and also on the tailgate for better road handling at higher speeds thanks to higher down force. The carbon fiber hood air intake is also included in the package.
The other choice was the Recaro front seats which keep you in place during a more aggressive drive.
Otherwise, there is all the usual equipment in the car. The funny thing is that you can start the car via a push of a button from the remote key.
Condition
The seller describes the car as being in good condition. Noticed is a small stone chip in the front window. Right rim has a minor scratch mark. Of course, minor stone chips are noted and the seller refers to the image material.
The tire pattern measures approx. 5mm.
The engine runs like a dream and the gearbox shifts as it should.
