1979 Alpina B7 Turbo

JHMOTOR
Luleå
Basic Information & Background

Alpina is a well recognized name in both BMW circles and in the automotive world in general. The Alpina B7 turbo was Alpina's first complete car and was made in very few examples, and the B7 Turbo Coupé in only 147 units! The engine is based on BMW's fine straight six M30 but modified by Alpina to their own spec with, among other things, new rods, pistons and a KKK turbo that gave a whopping 300hp. This is No. 56/143 B7 Turbo Coupé. The model also received an upgraded chassis, brakes and a lot of styling upgrades including Alpina's special alloy wheels. This is a very nice example with low miles and few owners of a very rare model! Imported to Sweden already in 1981 and lived its life in Luelå since then, and first registration was not until 2002.

The Alpina sports steering wheel is still in top condition and all gauges, functions etc work. A more modern Blaupunkt stereo is fitted in the car.

Summary

A highly sought after and rare Alpina model with a really nice spec. A super nice object with a good history, few owners and the chance of meeting one like it is very small! A perfect opportunity to acquire a true classic that you can enjoy for many years to come, and undoubtedly a very nice investment for the future.
