Condition
Exterior: The car underwent a complete renovation with both sheet metal work and painting about 10 years ago and is still in the same fine condition. Then, among other things, the radiator beam, sill boxes, fender edges at the back, wheel housing, spare wheel well and the lower part of the door frames were replaced. The grill has been replaced, as have the front and rear chrome strips, which have been replaced with new ones. Today, the car is completely rust-free and, apart from a couple of small adjustments, is ready to be shown off even to the discerning. The windshield a small crack of just under 1 cm that has been there for 20 years so it comes with the purchase! There are no other remarks on chrome, moldings or emblems. For more info on the condition see our detailed photos in the album and feel free to ask questions in the comment field!
Interior: The Bertone-designed interior is in good condition with new Alfaholics vinyl upholstery on the passenger seat and rear seats. Original driver's seat included with original upholstery. The wood veneer instrument panel presents itself very well with its nice looking (and working) original analog gauges and the retrofitted Alfaholics tachometer. For more info on the condition see our detailed photos in the album and feel free to ask questions in the comment field!
Mechanical: Newly inspected in June 2023 without remarks and is now both tax and inspection exempt. The Twinspark engine runs very well and pulls well right up to rev stop. After the last benching, the car has received a new adjustable ignition system, which with a little adjustment can get even more horsepower out in a safe and drivable way. The box is upgraded with synchronization on the 2nd gear and feels really good without scratches. Noticed is a little oil leakage from the engine, but that is also common on these. The last service was carried out in 2022 and all wheel bearings and bushings have been replaced with new bearings. Brakes all around are in top condition and there are no other remarks on the drivetrain. For more info on the condition see our detailed photos in the album and feel free to ask questions in the comment field!
Summary
A stunningly beautiful and well-renovated example of a classic Italian icon that both runs and looks as it should! Plus with some tasteful and highly sought after upgrades from Alfaholics. These models have had a very stable price picture and fine examples like this will become even more sought after on the market in the future.
