Basic Information and History

Rare Swedish-Sold BMW 135i Coupé – Only 128,000 km

Now you have the chance to acquire a unique and well-maintained BMW 135i Coupé with only two previous owners. The current owner has kept the car for a full 12 years, which testifies to how appreciated and carefully maintained it has been. With only 128,000 km on the odometer, this car is a fantastic example for both collectors and enthusiasts.

This BMW is one of only three manual transmission, Swedish-sold 135i models with the highly sought-after N55 engine. A rare and desirable vehicle combining power, driving pleasure, and precision. Perfect for those looking for a car with character and exceptional performance.

Equipment and Options

M-package, automatic climate control (ACC), and factory-installed tinted windows. Additional aftermarket upgrades include a BMW original Hi-Fi package upgrade (Alpine), BMW original tinted taillights, BMW Performance alcantara steering wheel, KW V3 adjustable coilovers, and Dinan fixed camber plates (Ground Control adjustable camber/caster are included). The car also features BMW M3 control arms front and rear, polyurethane bushings throughout the rear suspension, adjustable toe-links, and a Quaife limited-slip differential. The anti-roll bars have been upgraded to 27 mm in the front and 22.5 mm in the rear.

In terms of performance, the car is equipped with a Wagner intercooler, Wagner downpipe with a 200-cell catalytic converter, aluminum charge-pipe, and a BMW Performance exhaust system. The brakes have been upgraded with front calipers from an M135i F20 with Pagid RSL1 pads, ECS ventilated discs up front, and new original calipers at the rear with Ferodo DS2500 pads. Braided stainless steel brake lines all around improve braking feel and durability.

The car sits on lightweight Bola B2R wheels (new, driven less than 200 km) with dimensions 8.5x18 front and 9.5x18 rear, wrapped in new Hankook tires (245/35/18 front, 265/35/18 rear). Additionally, it has an original carbon fiber spoiler on the trunk. All electronics in the car are in perfect working order.

A well-equipped and thoughtfully modified car for the discerning driver!

Condition

The body is described as being in very good condition by the seller, with no dents or major scratches, and the car is entirely rust-free. The paint is in excellent condition, recently polished and professionally treated. The rear plastic bumper was repainted in August 2024 following a minor parking incident that was repaired. The windshield was replaced in 2017, and there is a small stone chip. The wheels are undamaged, and the new tires have driven less than 2,000 km.

The interior is described as being in very good condition, though there is a crack in the faux leather on the left thigh bolster of the driver's seat—a common issue with the 1-series without leather upholstery. The headliner is in good condition. The center console was replaced with an original variant without an armrest, but the original console with the armrest is included. The gear knob is a heavy Sparco model, which provides a great feeling when shifting. The instrument dials have been swapped for custom M-style dials with white lighting and red needles.

The engine is described as being in excellent condition, and the software has been updated to MHD 2+. The transmission and drivetrain are also in fine condition, with no issues. The brakes are in top shape, with new ECS discs up front and calipers from the M135i F20, along with Pagid RSL1 pads. The rear features new discs, original calipers, and Ferodo DS2500 pads.
