The Volvo V70 R AWD is not just another version of the V70 – it is a model in Volvo's premium segment. With 245 hp, all-wheel drive, and a refined chassis, the car delivers an extraordinary driving experience. With a new price of 400,000 SEK, this is a luxury car with sporty ambitions, deeply rooted in Volvo's engineering expertise.

Condition
The body is in very good condition with only minor surface rust – a small spot and a millimeter-sized rust patch along the upper edge of the tailgate. The car has been oil-protected every other year under the current owner's ownership, which has helped preserve the body in good condition. The paint is in very good condition without major flaws, and the glass surfaces are free from scratches or cracks. Chrome, trim, emblems, and lens covers are in excellent condition. The interior is generally very good with normal wear on the driver's seat and a defective armrest in the back seat. The steering wheel and controls are in good condition for the age. Electronics such as window lifts, lighting, climate control, and trip computer work as they should, except for the cruise control, fuel heater, rear wiper, and radio. The mechanics are flawless – the engine runs strong, the transmission shifts smoothly, and the brakes and driveline are in good condition.
Service History
The car has been regularly serviced with receipts and documentation saved since 2006. Although the service book is not filled according to Volvo's intervals, there are records and receipts supporting service, repairs, and maintenance. Among other things, the following work has been carried out during the ownership:
- Regular oil changes, filter changes
- Timing belt, water pump, and spark plug replacement
- Replacement of radiator, springs, shock absorbers, AC compressor, brake discs, brake calipers, and handbrake system

Summary
This is not just a car – it is a part of Volvo's history. The V70 R AWD is a hidden gem among performance cars, and this example combines well-maintained technology, documented history, and a long ownership period with meticulous care. The owner once described the car as a "luxury car disguised as a family station wagon" – and that’s exactly what it is. The car has been both a workhorse and a long-distance comfort cruiser. Whether it has pulled 2 tons of firewood up a steep gravel road or cruised home after a midsummer night’s dance at 200 km/h, it has delivered security, power, and driving pleasure every moment.
For collectors, enthusiasts, or anyone looking for a unique and capable everyday car with character – this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss.
