Honda CBX1000 Swedish-Sold in Excellent Condition – Iconic Classic with Historical Brilliance

This 1982 Honda CBX1000 is a Swedish-registered gem with only four owners and a low mileage of 33,837 km. Although the motorcycle has been idle since its last inspection in 2017, its status as a technical and design milestone in motorcycle history remains undiminished.

The CBX1000's 1,047 cc six-cylinder engine, delivering an impressive 105 horsepower, was revolutionary at the time of its launch. Renowned for its unique, symphonic sound reminiscent of a high-revving race engine, the motor stands as both a technical marvel and a testament to Honda's engineering excellence. This combination of power and innovation made the model a favorite among enthusiasts and a technical wonder of its era.

The 1982 model marks Honda's shift toward the sport-touring segment. Featuring improved suspension, including a Pro-Link single shock, a larger fuel tank, and a half-fairing, it blends high performance with comfort and aerodynamics for long-distance riding. This makes the CBX1000 not only a capable sport machine but also a practical companion for extended journeys.

Design-wise, the CBX is timeless, with its classic 1980s aesthetics where the engine takes center stage as a work of art. The model represents an era when motorcycles were crafted to be both functional and visually striking—a quality that continues to captivate collectors worldwide.

Today, the Honda CBX1000 is a sought-after collectible, appreciated for its historical significance and groundbreaking engineering. Its market value is steadily rising, and the model is seen as a legacy of Honda's pioneering spirit—a symbol of a time when innovation and design were in perfect harmony. This example presents an opportunity to own a piece of motorcycle history.
