Basic Information and History

The Volvo P1800ES, imported from the USA to Sweden in 1989, has had only one owner in Sweden. This car has been modified to provide an even better driving experience. It is equipped with Koni shock absorbers all around, and all bushings in the front and rear suspension have been replaced. To further enhance the handling, the car has been fitted with a rear anti-roll bar and a sturdier front one.

The interior has undergone extensive renovation. The dashboard has been restored, both upper and lower sections, while the seats and rear bench have been reupholstered by One Stop Shop. The carpets have also been replaced, and the car now features an elegant Nardi steering wheel. All gauges have been updated with new chrome rings, and both the speedometer and tachometer have been upgraded, with the speedometer being rebuilt by Mätarjige.

Previously located in Nevada, USA, the car was repainted in a striking red metallic finish and equipped with power steering. This is a well-maintained and meticulously upgraded classic that perfectly combines style and performance.

Condition

The body is described as being in fantastic condition with no major dents or scratches, according to the seller. There is no rust, and the paintwork is excellent, with only a few minor dust particles caught under the paint during the respray. The glass is in good condition, with some minor scratches. All chrome and trims have either been re-chromed or replaced, and the wheels show no damage. New tires were fitted in the summer of 2023.

The interior is as good as new. The door and side panel upholstery have been replaced, and the upper part of the doors has been reupholstered as well. A new headliner has also been installed. All equipment and features in the car function as they should.

The engine is in excellent condition and was overhauled in 2015. Both the gearbox and overdrive have also been refurbished. The brakes have been upgraded to those from a Volvo 240 Turbo. In summary, the car is in exceptional mechanical and aesthetic condition.
