Basic Information and History

Looking for an electric vehicle that stands out from the crowd? This unique, all-electric 1956 Ford F100 pickup combines classic design with modern electric power. Built by two professional car builders, this pickup offers the perfect balance between timeless style and the technology of the future. Originally created for Atlas Copco's 150th anniversary, the vehicle has toured the company’s facilities across Europe.

This Ford F100 started its life as a rust-free Texas truck, which was then completely disassembled and restored to a condition better than new. With state-of-the-art components and enhanced driving comfort, it works just as well as a practical work truck in cities where fossil-fuel vehicles are banned, as it does at a car show. The truck was premiered at the Bilsport Performance & Custom Motor Show (ELMIA) during Easter 2024.

A six-page feature on the build process was published in Wheels Magazine on December 28, 2023.
