Basic Information & Background
Mercedes-Benz W-107 350 SL from 1975. This is one of Mercedes' true classics. In production between 1971-1989 almost completely unchanged indicates a solid and popular car.
 
This example is a two-door convertible in a beautiful gold color with both a convertible top and a hardtop. The same owner for the past 15 years has used it on nice summer days on Skåne's country roads.

The power comes from Mercedes' reliable and proven 3.5-liter V8 with 204 horsepower via a 4-speed automatic transmission which, despite its age, gives the car a top speed of over 200km / h.

With only 170,000 km, this is a relatively low-mileage example in good working order that can really be used. The car has some patina but overall gives a very nice overall impression.

Condition
Exterior is in very good condition, completely free of rust even underneath. The car has at some point been repainted in the original color, which can be seen in a slight shade difference at the A-pillars on the windscreen. The job is well done and the paint still has a nice luster.

Good hardtop, solid soft-top without tears although a slightly faded vinyl rear window and small hole on the right side of the vinyl window.

The interior is original and shows traces of patina and wear, most prominent is a hole in the fabric on the driver's seat, otherwise complete but needs to be refreshed.

Mechanically, the car runs very well, as it has been stored for the past few years, a thorough service is recommended with replacement of all fluids, engine oil, filters, gear oil, all fuel rubber hoses that show tendencies to dry cracks and a gasket in the exhaust system.

Service history
The car has undergone ongoing maintenance over the years during the last owner's care, but there is no service book.
The body is repainted at some point, but the job is well done in the original color.
