Basic information and History

The BMW Z3 was launched in connection with the James Bond film GoldenEye, where Bond drove a BMW for the first time. The model is available as both a roadster and a coupe and has several features taken from the classic BMW 507 that was produced in the 1950s. It was sold with a variety of engines and this is a low mileage and Swedish sold model with the nice 2 liter straight 6 that has had the same owner since 2012! The unusual Sienna Red paint was the reason the seller bought the car in the first place and is a perfect contrast to the black leather interior.

Condition

Exterior: The original red paint is in a nice condition. There is some noted marks, minor dents and rock chips on the bosy which can be seen in the photos and video. All aluminum rims from Dotz have edge scratches. The roof is in the same fine condition as the paint and works as it should. Interior: The car is in the same fine condition inside and all gauges and functions work without problems. The sports seats with black leather are complete and clean with very few traces of use and likewise the leather steering wheel which is in very good used condition. Fabric carpets are complete but in used condition. There is also a more modern upgraded Pioneer stereo in the car. Mechanics: The car runs very well in both engine and gearbox and feels as strong as when it was new. Last service was performed in 20170904 at 49288km at BMW service Bil & Motorteknik and previous service records are available. Inspected without remark 2022/06. All brakes are in good condition and the tires have about 6mm of tread left. Please see all the photos in the album for more info!


Summary

A really stylish and affordable sports car with low running costs and a well-documented history. The car is in an unusually fine condition thanks to the low miles despite the model year and presents itself very well! Interest in the model has always been great and thanks to the model's fine performance and great possibilities for both everyday use or as a weekend toy will be attractive to buyers of all ages!
