Basic information and history

Bidders Highway has been honoured to help sell a large collection of motorcycles, motocross and mopeds as the owner is unfortunately no longer able to drive them. Due to condition of the owner, no questions can be asked about the objects. The information we managed to arrange is therefore slightly less than on our other objects. The objects have not been started by us.

The item in this auction can only be picked up on a specific date, Saturday 6/7 at 12.00. Please be understanding about this.

Domestically sold Yamaha SR500 which was bought by the current owner on Valhallavägen back in 1980. Off the shelf price back then was for the motorcycle was SEK 11,000. The first owner drove the bike for barely a season before it was sold to the current owner. The motorcycle has been moved between husband and wife and therefore has 5 owners in the register. The motorcycle has been used as a commuter bike over the years by the owner and has also gone on long trips to Lofoten, Norway and back home again. The motorcycle is in good condition for its age but needs inspection and service as it has been standing for a long time.

Condition

The paint is in good condition with minor wear and a few small scratches. The saddle has some small marks in the surface. Chrome details in good condition considering age and use. Lenses and indicators in good condition without damage. As previously mentioned, the motorcycle has been standing for a period and needs a review before start-up.

Please look through all photos carefully to form an idea of ​​the condition. Unfortunately, questions cannot be asked about the objects as the owner is not able to answer.

Summary

Domestically sold Yamaha SR500 that has only had two users over the years, the current one has owned the motorcycle since 1980. A true commuter bike that has been used extensively and is now looking for a new owner who wishes to continue enjoying it!
