Condition
Exterior: The seller says that the car is in fantastically good condition on the outside apart from a couple of very small marks that are documented in the album and a small scratch on the right front fender that has not been repainted due to the risk of color changes to the original paint. The Pegasus rims are in top condition with no marks, as are the tires and there are no marks on glass parts, moldings or emblems. For more info on exact condition, see our detailed photos in the album and feel free to ask questions in the comments!
Interior: The really nice original interior is apparently in very good condition and without any complaints. The blue interior contrasts really well with the silver paint and the combination is just the icing on the cake. The instrument panel and controls are free of marks or signs of wear. All gauges and other functions in the interior are in a good and working condition. For more info on exact condition, see our detailed photos in the album and feel free to ask questions in the comments!
Mechanics: The car runs very well mechanically and runs really well on the road. As can be seen, the car has been well maintained over the years with all books, service book, keys and other documentation.
Last service was performed in 2021 but has only driven about 150km since then. The car runs straight and fine on the road and all the brakes have been replaced and are in very good condition apart from a scratch on one of the yokes. Last inspection without remarks 2021/08 at 145590 km. Please see all the photos in the album.
Summary
A truly popular future classic in exceptionally fine condition. It is a truly recognized Swedish icon that will have a nice increase in value in the future thanks to the fact that there are so few left that are not modified, have low miles or are in equally fine condition. An opportunity to acquire one of the finest specimens on the market!

Is it possible to look at the car in Stockholm before the auction starts? I am very interested in this vehicle.
Hi. It’s poosible👍
Hello. You can send me a message on the phone number +46737245693 about the viewing opportunity. I have a few more question about the car. Why are the rear brake calipers paint scraped? Also, why are there some stains on the exhaust at the rear ?
Hi. Why the caliper have some scratches or/and ”paintloss” i cannot answer. Probably the test of time has gotten to it. There are no stains on exhaust. Not paint or any similar anyway. Might be reflection from sun on pictures or something.
Hi, couple of questions please. Is this car inspected (besiktning) and allowed to drive in traffic? And is it driveable without any actual technical issues? When is the timing belt (kamrem byte) replacement actual/recommended for this car? In case of a deal i would export this car from Sweden to Finland. I just would like to know if this could be done by driving the car. Thanks! Where is the car located for quick check up?
Hi JSS As of right now, it isen’t inspected (besiktad). This due to the non useage of the car. But it has only been driven perhaps 100km since last inspection, so i dont think that would be any issue. It’s very driveable with no known issues, so driving it to Finland wouldent be a problem. The timingbelt was changed in mid May of 2018, approx 20.000km ago. Sorry, but I dont know the intervall for it.
Sorry, forgot. It’s located in Stockholm, 20km from city centre.
Hello, is there a maintenance and inspection history? Did the Volvo already have the infamous web crack between one of the cylinder banks? This is a classic weak point of the engine and who knows it has this strengthened for a medium 4-digit amount. Greetings
Hi The servicehistory is displayed on pictures under ”Documentation”.
