Classic Swedish brick sold new Sweden, Volvo 944 GL SE from 1992 in good condition for its age. The mileage is approx. 192937km and the meter reading can be guaranteed. The car spent its first two years as a lease and was then driven approx. 90,000km before it was sold to owner number two. He owned the car until November 2023 when the current owner bought this classic Volvo. The car has only driven 40,000 km in the last 14 years and has been stored in a garage. The car is rust-free in both body and undercarriage, which is rarely seen today. A perfect example for those looking for a comfortable classic that goes infinitely far with the right care!

Equipped with 2.3-liter B230FB of approx. 130hp/185nm mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive.
Equipment and options
The car is equipped with the SE package, which means a 130hp engine instead of the usual 116hp, ECC, electric windows, electric mirrors, alloy wheels, grid grill, ABS, central locking and retrofitted alarm from Swedeguard. There are fire extinguishers in the trunk and an extra antenna has been installed on the trunk lid.
Condition
The general condition of the body is described as very good by the current owner. The overall impression is very good and the remarks we found can be seen in the pictures. The car is described as being free from rust. There is wear and tear in the form of minor damage to the right rear bumper and scuffs, chips from the trim, paintwork on the door edge, three minor dents and paintwork under the molding at the C-pillar and scuffs on the fuel cap. Lantern glass is in good condition all around. Glass panes as well. Emblems and moldings are in good condition. The wheel housings are in good condition. The rims have minor scratches but look good. The summer tires are from 2015 with fairly good tread depth, according to the owner.
The interior is in a very good condition. The chairs are free of damage and wear. Door panels are in good condition, but there is some very minor damage to the rear left door panel. Inner ceiling in very good condition with no defects. Steering wheel, buttons and controls are without visible wear. Unfortunately, the A/C does not work. When filling up with fluid, the A/C leaks and according to information, the compressor has overheated and the belt has been removed. Otherwise, everything in the cabin works.
Engine is described as being in good condition with no known faults. Gearbox and drivetrain as well. Brakes work well and pads are described as having half their lifespan left.
Service history
The current owner has been a car mechanic for 25 years and has carried out regular service from December 2023 to March 2024. The car had then driven 192,500 km and the oil and filter were changed, also the timing belt kit, water pump, drive belts, spark plugs, brake fluid, valve cover gasket and the gasket for the oil filler cap. Wiper blades on the window pane and headlights were also changed. A new hood plate was installed and the right blinker was replaced. Coolant thermostat and expansion vessel were also changed. Last but not least, the hinge for the tank lid was changed. The service book is stamped until 2011 and approx. 150,000 km. It includes some receipts from before. Last approved inspection took place on 2023-03-20. All inspection reports up to the year 2000 are available.
