1997 Volvo 850 R

One of the coolest station wagons of the 90s, Volvo 850 R. Here in the classic colour "T-red", sold new in Sweden and with barely 183,000km on the odometer. Meter setting can be guaranteed. According to the Swedish Transport Agency, there are 7 owners of the car, but information on how many of these are actual users cannot be ascertained.

Equipped with Volvo's fantastic 5-cylinder B5234T5 of 2.3 liters with approx. 240hp/300nm connected to automatic transmission and front wheel drive. 0-100 is completed in approx. 7.5 seconds and top speed is stated to be approx. 240km/h. Well equipped with, among other things, half leather, cruise control, A/C, double electric seats with memory, different driving modes, electric lifts, electric mirrors and heated seats front and back.

The general condition of the body is described by the current owner as good. The car has not undergone renovations or repainting due to e.g. injuries. The car is also described as rust-free, which the photos from the photo shoot confirm. Glass panes are described as being in very good condition. Moldings, lamp lenses and emblems are all in good condition. The rims have light scratches all around.

The interior is in a very well maintained condition and has done very well over the years from e.g. damage and cracks which is common. Door panels, seats, back seat and headliner are all in good condition. Steering wheel, controls and dashboard as well. The interior is also untouched and has no holes in e.g. instrument panel from mobile phone holder or similar. All functions work as intended.

Engine is described as being in very good condition, brakes as well. No leaks have been found. Under the hood, everything is original and untouched, which is not a common sight today on the model.

The car has been well serviced over the years and the service book is fully completed over the years. The last major service took place at Bilia in Täby in January this year. Then, among other things, the timing belt, oil, filter and more were changed. The car was last inspected in February 2024.
